They obviously had nothing to do with Ruben Vardanian: at that time he was 19 years old and a full-time student at the Economics Department of Lomonosov Moscow State University.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Ruben Vardanyan and his lawyer filed several motions, but all of them were rejected by the court.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>So far, less than 5% of the thousands of pages of the indictment and evidence have been orally translated for Ruben Vardanyan, and his local lawyer has studied only 20% of the materials.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>In addition, Ruben Vardanyan&#8217;s lawyer filed a motion to disqualify the court-appointed interpreter after serious inconsistencies were revealed: for example, the translated decision on the results of the preliminary hearing contained references to the legislation of Belarus, which has no relevance to the case.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The next hearings in the case of Ruben Vardanyan will be held on February 10 and 13.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>More information: <a href=\"https:\/\/freevardanyan.com\/ru\/hronologiya\/\">https:\/\/freevardanyan.com\/ru\/hronologiya\/<\/a><\/p>\r\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The prosecutor began reading charges dating back to 1988.
