The article tells the story of the philanthropist who faces 42 charges.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The article reports that Vardanyan&#8217;s international lawyer Jared Genser condemned the show trial from the first day of the hearing. \u201cThe 25,000-page criminal case is written entirely in Azerbaijani, a language that the accused Vardanyan does not speak\u201d, the magazine emphasizes.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Azerbaijani media call Ruben a war criminal, although he has never worn a military uniform. \u201cThis is a gross violation of the European Convention on Human Rights,\u201d Vardanyan&#8217;s lawyer stated.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The article also cites the opinion of Tigran Yeghavyan, professor of Schiller International University and author of the work \u201cGeopolitics of Armenia\u201d. \u201cRuben Vardanyan is the man the regime fears the most, he is the one who needs to be overthrown.
