In his interview to Sofiko Shevardnadze, Alexander Auzan, Doctor of Economic Sciences and Dean of the Economics Department of Moscow State University, called philanthropist Ruben Vardanyan a graduate who makes the university very proud.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\u201cHe [Vardanyan] launched a plethora of social and charitable projects. Let me share a story he once told himself. When his photo appeared on the cover of Forbes magazine, he and his wife [Veronika Zonabend] decided it was time to talk to their son, who was 14 years old at the time. Sitting in front of him, they said, \u2018You know, we won’t leave you this money. There are so many projects that need to be carried out. We will spend our money there.\u2019 This, to which their son cleverly replied, \u2018I get it. Just don’t leave me with any debts\u2019,\u201d Alexander Auzan said.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
