The struc-ture design was commissioned by philanthropist Ruben Vardanyan, and this project has already been nominated for the prestigious international World Travel Award twice.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>\u201cBefore the cable car was built, there were about 5 thousand tourists a year in Syunik, and now there are 150 thousand. This is reflected in tourist infrastruc-ture facilities: hotels, small restaurants, roadside cafes.
