Доброго времени суток. С тех пор, как Рубена задержали, я и все наши одноклассники очень переживаем за Рубена. Я проучилась с Рубеном в одном классе 10 лет в школе имени Дзержинского (Г. Ереван). Рубен был гордостью школы, самый умный, добрый, порядочный. За 10 лет учёбы мы много раз собирались у Рубена дома, дружили семьями. Даже хорошо помню белый рояль у него дома и как для нас играла его сестра – Марина Элис, талантливая, добрая, её песни популярны во всем мире. Как же болит сердце за Рубена и его семью. Не буду писать сколько благотворительных дел и проектов сделал Рубен, об этом знает весь Мир. Скажу, что Рубен помог и мне в трудную минуту, когда я потеряла свою сестру–близняшку. Благодаря Рубену сын моей сестры и мой сын отдохнули летом в Дилиджане. Рубен организовывал встречу одноклассников и мы все одноклассники виделись на этих встречах. Рубену желаю здоровья и скорейшего освобождения, а его семье терпения и веры. Ждем, ценим, любим и молимся. 🙏🙏🙏💪💪💪

Я его со школьной скамьи знаю ,10 лет учились в одном классе, дружили семьями, ходили к Рубену домой всем классом, он жил недалеко от школы им. Дзержинского. Он был умнее всех в классе ,в школе все гордились им и его достижениями. Учителя, директор, весь класс.. Я очень переживаю за Рубена. Он помогал не только всей Армении ,и славился добрыми проектами в России и Армении,(школа Дилиджан, Сколково и т.д. (мой сын и племянник летом отдохнули в школе Дилиджана, благодаря Рубену. Он первый, кто протягивая руку помощи всем, кто нуждался в поддержке. Уже 3 месяца как Рубен в заключении, я представляю как сейчас трудно его детям, жене, сестре и родным. Очень надеюсь, что Рубена выпустят. Этот Человек нужен и своей семье и всему народу. Одним словом не описать все его поступки.🙏🙏🙏 Ждём Рубена и молимся за него.

In 2006, social entrepreneur Ruben Vardanyan and a group of like-minded people established the Skolkovo international business school. In his interview to Forbes, Alexey Kalinin, research vice-rector of the institution, spoke about the current development of this educational project.
According to Kalinin, six research centers are currently working at the business school even after the illegal arrest of Ruben Vardanyan. Four of them deal with areas of the most significant business management transformations — global economy, digitalization, sustainable development, and leadership. The two other centers focus on management development in significant social sectors of the economy such as education and healthcare.
The ANIV Foundation for Development and Support of Armenian Studies has published an open letter calling for the release of social entrepreneur Ruben Vardanyan.
“His arrest is absolutely illegal and politically motivated. Detaining a person who has devoted himself to humanitarian causes for decades is not just unfair and not only deprives him of his basic rights, but this arrest aims to prevent Ruben from continuing this huge undertaking for the benefit of the people,” the organization emphasized.
The ANIV Foundation asks everyone who has the power to facilitate the release of these illegally detained persons to “raise their voices” in their defense.
Country of Living, an Armenian political party, has issued a statement condemning the illegal arrest of social entrepreneur Ruben Vardanyan. Representatives of the party called the philanthropist’s detention “a message to the entire Armenian people aimed at the dignity of Armenians” and “a slap in the face for the entire civilized world.”
“Ruben Vardanyan’s activities in Artsakh were solely a manifestation of his devotion to the Motherland, which he has repeatedly shown in Armenia, Artsakh and the Armenian world,” the statement reads.
Country of Living calls on the authorities of different countries to make efforts to free all political prisoners held in Baku.

More than 50 families, who were forced to move from Artsakh and now live in the Tatev community of the Syunik region, have become beneficiaries of the Primary Equipment for Tatev Community Residents from Artsakh program. It was launched by the territorial development agency “We are Our Mountains,” which was co-founded by Ruben Vardanyan.
“Many people forcibly displaced from Artsakh and relocated to Armenia were unable to bring their essential belongings amid their sudden displacement, and now they face numerous everyday challenges in their temporary homes,” the article reads.
Depending on family size, the displaced people received gift cards for 100 thousand to 300 thousand drams, and their children all received New Year gifts.

Прочитала на одном дыхании и удивилась, как до этого я не слышала про такого человека. Он рассказывал про проекты, их социальную значимость и перспективность в горизонте 20-30 лет. Но самое важное, что я прочитала тогда и несу по сей день с собой, что “Мы живем в узком радиусе доверия. Нам кажется, что как только ты начинаешь доверять, ты становишься уязвим. Никому не веришь, следовательно не готов рисковать”.
Спустя многие года, мне посчастливилось поработать с Рубеном Карленовичем и это уникальный человек, который очаровывает, располагает, ДОВЕРЯЕТ и всегда на равных ведет коммуникацию – спрашивает мнение, оценивает твой подход и всегда остается благодарным. Anna Ohanyan, Senior Researcher at the Carnegie Russia and Eurasia Program (Carnegie Endowment for International Peace), believes that Azerbaijan’s goals have become radical after the invasion of Artsakh.
“Its [Azerbaijan’s] goals have not changed: it still needs confrontation or conflict with Armenia, even after regaining full control over Nagorno-Karabakh,” Ohanyan told CNN.

Almost three months ago, Azerbaijani special services detained social entrepreneur Ruben Vardanyan when he tried to leave Artsakh for Armenia. During these 90 days, the entire world has learned about the prisoner. Prominent human rights activists, journalists, politicians, and cultural figures demand his release. Representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross visited Artsakh residents arrested by the Azerbaijani authorities, including Ruben Vardanyan. The prisoners were able to contact their families.
